Last night when I had gone for a walk to the Esplanade to let go of a few feelings I was surprised to find something going on. Something interesting. It was the last night of the Moonfest celebrations and for the first time I felt that I was at the right place at the right time. If it hadn't been for the walk I would't have got a chance to experience the amazing opera performance from last night. I had come in a little late so I had missed a few of them but I did get to see a few and one of them is shown below. They were all Teochew Opera Excerpts. I enjoyed every bit of it. From the costumes to the make up and the way they delivered the essence of the story to the audience was amazing. I will surely look forward to the Moonfest next year and this time I will be much more aware of what all is happening around me.
